A little bit about me...
I've never had another career.
Since graduating from UC Santa Barbara, real estate has been my full-time profession. I earned my California real estate license in 2004, my broker's license in 2007, and for more than 22 years I've had the privilege of helping buyers and sellers throughout Santa Barbara navigate one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives.
Having grown up in North County San Diego, I moved to Santa Barbara in 1999 to attend UCSB and quickly fell in love with the community, the lifestyle, and everything our coastline has to offer. More than 25 years later, Santa Barbara isn't just where I work - it's home.
In 2007, I co-founded The Santa Barbara Group, where we've built our business on relationships, trust, and exceptional service. Throughout my career, I've represented first-time buyers, luxury estates, investment properties, and have developed extensive experience with trust, probate, estate, partition, and court-related sales. Whether the transaction is straightforward or complex, my goal is always the same: provide honest guidance, clear communication, and help my clients make confident, informed decisions.
After more than two decades selling real estate exclusively in Santa Barbara, I've developed a level of local knowledge that's difficult to replicate. I know virtually every neighborhood—and most streets—in town. From understanding the subtle differences between neighborhoods to knowing how location, views, and market trends influence value, I provide insights that go well beyond what clients can find online.
My clients often tell me they appreciate my responsiveness, communication, attention to detail, and calm approach throughout the buying and selling process. I believe great service means being accessible, solving problems proactively, and making sure clients always feel informed and supported. The greatest compliment I receive is when past clients refer their family and friends or come back to me years later for their next move.
Outside of real estate, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our two children, surfing, golfing, traveling, and taking advantage of everything that makes Santa Barbara such an incredible place to live.
For me, success isn't measured by the number of homes I've sold. It's measured by the relationships I've built, the trust I've earned, and the privilege of helping clients through one of life's most important milestones.
