Much has changed since Thomas Hope bought the land in 1861 and named it Hope Ranch. Homeowners owe much to Harold Chase who purchased the property in 1923 and began developing it into the residential area we know today.
While many of the approximately 700 homes were built between 1940 and 1969, there is a smattering of newer homes nestled in the rolling hills.
