The Lower Riviera is another special neighborhood that makes Santa Barbara such a great place to live.
The Lower Riviera is a narrow neighborhood that sits below Alameda Padre Serra (APS) and is bounded by Cota Street, The Mission, Milpas, Olive and Laguna Streets.
Most of the housing in the Lower Riviera is a variety of single-family homes, plus condo and multifamily properties.
As you move up the hill from Milpas towards APS, the homes tend to have better harbor views. Speaking of homes, there is quite a variety. You will see cute bungalows, varied period revival houses as well as modern and, of course, Spanish-style places.
