Santa Barbara Best Coffee Spots
This could be a dangerous post. People love their coffeehouses in Santa Barbara and writing a post about the best local java hangs is edgy. However, Joe Parker of the Santa Barbara Group is up for the challenge and has put together a short video outlining his choices for Santa Barbara Best Coffee Spots with a geographic focus of on or near State Street.

The List of Best Coffee Spots
.
First up on our tour of Santa Barbara Best Coffee Spots is Vices and Spices. Many call this Santa Barbara’s most iconic coffee house. There is something quite special here. Maybe it’s the large selection of teas or just the comfy feel. Check them out at http://www.vicesandspices.net/
.
Our next stop is Olson and Anderson’s place, Handlebar Coffee Roasters. The name comes from them being pro-level cyclists before becoming bean enthusiasts. We like this place for more than its coffee. They have great food, especially the avo toast, and it’s a great place to network or catch time with a friend. There are two Handlebars in town… 2720 De La Vina & 128 E Canon Perdido.
.
The Daily Grind not only has a cool name, it is one of my favorite places not just for coffee but delicious juice drinks. The SuperGreens rocks. Located at 2001 De La Vina, the Daily Grind offers a tasty cup of java and lots of other options. Check out their menu here.
.
The French Press has gotten national press for their exceptional coffee. With the 1000’s of coffee spots nationwide, this is quite a feat. Here is just one review from a man in search of the perfect cup who says he found it in Santa Barbara. If you love being handed a latte that doubles as a work of art, check out the French Press at 1101 State or 528 Anacapa Street.
.
Our final stop is definitely a local’s favorite. Santa Barbara Roasting Company (RoCo by locals) has been around since 1989 and offers up to 70 varieties of coffee. It’s a great people watching spot and they even offer their own K-Cups you can take home. Located on lower State Stree at 321 Motor Way, a morning at RoCo is always a good way to start the day.
By the way, we may like our coffee, but we love being known as the guys who know Santa Barbara real estate and do a great job taking care of our clients. If you have questions or need help with buying or selling a place, please know we will be there for you. It’s in our DNA.
