Today, Halloween has become 2nd only to the Christmas time holidays for decorating your home, inside and out. Thus, we bring you some Halloween home decor ideas to make your house a fun-spooky place friends and trick-or-treaters will rave about.
Halloween Decorating Ideas – Outside the Home
Some people go all out for Halloween. It is fun seeing all the crazy things they do. We’ve scoured the internet to find pictures that may inspire your family. As you’ll see, some people take Halloween very seriously.
In talking to homeowners, many found a centerpiece item at places like Lowes, Home Depot or online, while others were inspired by Halloween displays they saw around town. We hope that some of the pictures below give you some ideas.
Projecting ghouls and ghosts is one of the big new trends. People display them on windows, walls, fences and other flat surfaces. There is a website, AtmosFX, that has lots of different visual lighting effects for Halloween and other holidays. They are worth checking out.

In 2018, Halloween falls on a Wednesday. However, that won’t stop a lot of people hosting scary parties on the weekend of the 28th. If you are one of those soon-to-be hosts, or simply someone who loves to a decorate, we’ve gathered some decorating ideas for inside the home.
Many of the Halloween decorating ideas can be fun projects with kids or grandkids. It’s amazing what a few foam balls and fabric can create. The two links we shared above offer many fun ideas.
In putting together this article we were especially amazed by the creativity surrounds food. Some of the ideas were very clever and some were a bit ghastly. All in all, Halloween is a great time to let your creativity flow and have some great fun.
