Top 5 Places to Take Mom on Mother’s Day in Santa Barbara – The Video
- Scarlet Begonia was first up in the video. Sunday Brunch is served from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. They do take reservations and are located at 11 Victoria Street in downtown Santa Barbara. Their phone number is (805) 770-2143
- Moby Dick’s on Stern’s Wharf was next up on the list. Besides a great view of the harbor, they have room for larger parties, are very family-friendly, and parking is generally available. Moby Dick is not known for exquisite food, yet the views and menu variety make this a family favorite. They open at 7:00 am on Sundays and can be reached at (805) 965-0549.
- With its Spanish Village feel, El Paseo is always on our “what to do on a Tuesday night list” and a great choice for Mom on Mother’s Day. Located in the 800 block of State Street, they can be reached at 805-962-6050. El Paseo is open from 10:30 am to 9:00 pm on Sundays.
- The Boathouse at Hendry’s get’s forgotten since it is tucked out of the way. They have great food, and the ocean views are hard to beat. Parking can be tough, so the earlier the better. They have a Mother’s Day special going this year. Reservations are likely necessary, so call early at 805) 898-2628.
- The Andersen’s at 1106 State Street is famous for its Danish pastries, thoughtful menu, and gracious service. Hard to go wrong with this choice, especially if you like sweets. They take reservations, so call them at (805) 962-5085.
BONUS PLACE: This article was written before the opening of Miramar Resort in Montecito. They have a few restaurant options; you may want to walk the grounds and have a Mimosa to kick off your Mother’s Day. If you have not been there yet, it has an iconic vibe and is well worth the visit.
